How dispatch actually works
Travel and scheduling, explained plainly
The radius is a guideline for planning a route. Here is what actually changes as a job sits farther from the core.
Core metroplex
ZIP codes inside the main Dallas–Fort Worth footprint get standard scheduling and are eligible for emergency dispatch, with no travel surcharge added to the call-out fee.
Edge of the range
Towns nearer the outer edge of the radius are still a regular stop — we just confirm drive time and a scheduling window up front rather than promising the same turnaround as the core.
Outside the radius
A request from beyond the standard range is not an automatic no. Send the details through and you will get an honest answer about whether the trip makes sense, not a form rejection.
Worth asking about anyway
Multi-machine accounts and new installs change the math on travel, even from well outside the standard radius — one visit covering several units, or a scheduled install date planned in advance, can make a longer drive worth it on both ends. If that describes your account, say so in the request and you will get a direct answer about whether it works.
